Parking FAQs

Questions arising from HOA Board meeting, emails received, and discussion with Homeowners in our neighborhood, the below FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) list has been put together to help you. If the below does not answer a question you have, please contact our Property Manager, and he will be able to help you further.

Q) When was the parking restrictions communicated?
A) Information regarding our restrictions to parking within Squires Bluff have been included in the HOA’s Association Rules documents since mid 2002. All Homeowners should have been provided copies of the Declaration of Easements, Covenants and Restrictions and the Association Rules with their closing documents at the Title agency. An updated copy of the Association Rules is posted on the Squires Bluff website.

Q) I have a problem with the parking rule, and I know where Board members live. Should I go and talk with them about my concern?
A) No. Board members are advised not to discuss community issues outside of Squires Bluff Board meetings. Please contact Aries Management about any concern that you have. A single Board member is unable to help you.

Q) Can we park in the driveway of a home that is vacant?
A) Although a home may be vacant, it is considered trespassing. The Board does not recommend parking in the driveways of vacant homes. If you choose to park at vacant homes, you take full responsibility of any claim made against you by the homeowner, whether it is an individual or a bank.

Q) Where’s my designated parking area?
A) Parking for all owners and occupants are restricted to the confines of a homes garage, or in the appurtenant entrance (driveway) of a home.

Q) Is off-street (concrete pads) parking available to me as an owner or occupant?
A) The off-street (concrete pads) parking areas are designated for guest temporary parking not to exceed eight (8) hours, but owners and occupants can use temporarily. The key word is temporary. For the safety of our residents, the common drive areas need to be clear for emergency vehicles access and delivery vehicles for our residents.

Q) Can the off-street Guest temporary parking be used for storage of my extra vehicles?
A) No, the Association shall not allow or be required, to provide a storage area for any vehicle, on any properties temporarily or permanently.

Q) I am having guest(s) over night and may need additional parking. What can I do?
A) If your guests are not able to park in your driveway than the off-street guest temporary parking is allowed to be used.

Q) Can off-street guest temporary parking be used for my guest(s) extended stay or when we go on vacation?
A) No, not without Board permission.

All notices shall be sent to the Owner and copied to the tenant."

Homeowners,
Please ensure you park your vehicles either in your garage or on your driveway so as to not be in violation with the Association's parking restrictions. The Parking and Enforcement Guidelines have been developed for Squires Bluff Homeowners Association, and apply to all owners, occupants and guests within the association. All vehicles located, whether standing or parked, within the Association are subject to the Squires Bluff Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions, and the Board adopted Rules and Regulations.

All of the common drive and the off-street parking are privately owned by the Squires Bluff Homeowners Association. The Association has the right to enforce these provisions against any and all property owners. Owners are liable for their occupants and guest compliance.

The Association enforcement policy can include a warning notice, a fine or towing unauthorized vehicles that have an established pattern of violation.

Thank you,
Squires Bluff Board of Directors
